Movement and mindset coach. Based in Berkeley!

Coaching Bio

Isaac specializes in indoor bouldering and understands the different styles that modern gyms demand. He has been climbing for over five years and is deeply interested in movement and how small adjustments can change everything on the wall. As a first-year Master’s student in Counseling Psychology, Isaac looks to bring mindfulness and intentionality into his coaching.

What is your coaching philosophy?

Every climber is vastly different, not only in morphology but in how they think about and imagine climbing. The way we conceptualize climbing informs our decisions on and off the wall. It shapes how we move, how we respond while climbing, and how we set goals and fit climbing into our lives. I look forward to working with you to develop your movement repertoire and a personal, authentic climbing philosophy.

What can clients expect?

Sessions will be specifically tailored to your goals - everything from on the wall movement to off the wall climbing philosophy. We’ll look at what works for you, what doesn’t, and why — with an emphasis on building your analytical eye so you can become your own best coach over time.
All ages are welcome, from beginners to advanced climbers V0 to V10.
